A week is too short to build anything meaningful. A year is too long to stay focused. But a month? A month is the perfect unit of ambition.

That's why SPRY is built around monthly sprints — structured periods of focused, intentional effort toward goals that actually move the needle.

Why Monthly Planning Works

Monthly planning forces you to answer a question most people avoid:

What does a great month actually look like for me?

Not a vague "I want to get healthier" or "I'll work on my business." A concrete, specific picture of where you want to be in 30 days.

When you have that picture, every daily decision becomes easier. You're not deciding what to do — you're just executing the plan.

The SPRY Month Map

Your Month Map is your strategic command center. It has three layers:

Deep Goals

For each of your five channels — Health, Work, Relationships, Community, Spiritual — you define a deep goal. This is the outcome you're working toward this month. Not a task. An outcome.

Example:

  • Health: Run a 5K without stopping
  • Work: Launch the new client proposal system
  • Relationships: Have one intentional date night per week

Sprint Goals

Sprint goals are your top three priorities for the month — the things that, if achieved, make this month a success regardless of anything else.

Think of them as your non-negotiables.

The Plan

Finally, you write a brief plan. How will you actually execute this? What habits need to change? What needs to start or stop?

This isn't a novel — a few sentences is enough. The act of writing it creates commitment.

Reviewing and Closing the Month

At the end of each month, SPRY guides you through a structured achievement review:

  • Results: What actually happened? Quantify it.
  • Outcomes: What did you learn from the experience?
  • Feedback: What would you do differently?

This closing ritual is where most of the growth happens. Don't skip it.

The Power of Repetition

The first month you use SPRY, you'll feel the friction of planning. By month three, it becomes natural. By month six, you can't imagine operating without it.

Each month builds on the last. Your goals get sharper. Your execution gets tighter. Your results compound.

A month lived with intention is worth more than a year spent reacting.

What does your best month look like? Start there.
